Who we are
EmployMe.si is operated by BAŠIČ d.o.o., družba z omejeno odgovornostjo (limited liability company) registered in the Republic of Slovenia, at Preradovičeva ulica 38, 2000 Maribor, Slovenia. We are a marketplace, not an employer, staffing agency or employment agency. We do not make hiring decisions, promise employment or guarantee a successful hire.
Your account
You must be at least 18. Use one personal account and keep your information accurate. Sign-in uses Google or Apple; LinkedIn is coming soon. Do not share accounts, impersonate others, create fake profiles or publish fake jobs. You are responsible for activity under your account.
Your content and visibility
You keep ownership of your content. You give us a non-exclusive licence only to store, display and process it as needed to operate the service; the licence ends when the content is removed, subject to backup retention and legal duties. Public profiles are readily contactable on-platform, not public full identities. Public teasers show first name and last initial and no contact details. Confidential is the default: full identity is gated by a paid employer subscription and your application or accepted contact. Private profiles do not appear in talent search. Hide-from-company settings prevent those companies from discovering your profile. Applications and contact acceptance do not permit public disclosure.
Employer obligations
Post only genuine, currently open jobs and keep listings accurate. Answer each application within 7 days. You agree that, after 14 days without an employer answer, EmployMe sends a polite automatic response on your behalf and closes the application. Your employer response rate (answers you send yourself within 7 days) and typical answer time are shown publicly. Viewing an application is not an answer. Closing a job requires an answer to every remaining open application. Comply with Title VII, the ADA, the ADEA and applicable state and local anti-discrimination laws. Never charge candidates recruitment or application fees. Use candidate information only to recruit that person. No scraping, bulk export, resale or attempts to bypass on-platform messaging before the candidate accepts contact. Employers conducting background checks are responsible for the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA), including required disclosures, authorization and adverse-action procedures. Employers alone make hiring decisions and must comply with applicable employment laws.
Free launch period. Employer accounts have full paid features free of charge until December 31, 2026 (23:59 New York time). After that date, paid features require an active subscription. No automatic charge is ever made without a separate checkout that you complete yourself. The founding price ($99 per month, billed annually at $1,188 per year instead of $149 per month) is limited to the first 100 companies that reserve it. A reservation is free, needs no card and is non-binding: it creates no obligation and no charge. When payments open in December 2026, reserved companies are invited to activate; full access stays free until January 1, 2027 and the first annual charge happens on January 1, 2027. You may cancel any time before that at no cost. Reservations not activated by January 31, 2027 expire and normal pricing applies. The founding price lock applies only while the subscription stays continuously active and lapses on cancellation.
Self-reported credentials
Education, skills, licenses and certifications are supplied by seekers. EmployMe does not verify or endorse these claims. Links to official registries open independent public lookup services; employers remain responsible for checking role requirements. License numbers are hidden unless the seeker opts to share them with authorized employers.
Employer subscriptions
Paid checkout is coming soon. When offered, monthly or yearly subscriptions automatically renew until cancelled. You can cancel online at any time from the employer dashboard; access continues through the paid period. There are no partial-period refunds, except where law requires them. Price changes will be communicated at least 30 days before renewal. We will display the amount, billing interval and renewal terms before purchase.
Prohibited conduct and suspension
Do not harass, discriminate, send spam, distribute malware, infringe rights, access another account or circumvent privacy or payment controls. We may remove content or suspend an account for violations, fraud, security risks or legal obligations. Where appropriate, we give reasons and an opportunity to appeal by contacting us. Urgent safety or legal action may occur without advance notice.
Disclaimers and liability
To the extent permitted by law, the service is provided as available without warranties of uninterrupted operation or the accuracy of user-supplied content. We are not responsible for employer hiring decisions. To the extent permitted by law, we exclude indirect or consequential loss and limit aggregate liability to the greater of $100 or the fees you paid us during the preceding 12 months. These limits do not exclude liability for fraud, wilful misconduct, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or any liability or consumer rights that law does not allow us to exclude.
Employer indemnity
To the extent permitted by law, employers must indemnify us against third-party claims and reasonable costs caused by their unlawful recruitment practices, misuse of candidate data, infringing content or breach of these terms. We will notify the employer and allow reasonable participation in the defence. This does not cover our own fault.
Law, disputes and changes
Governing law and dispute forum: Laws of the Republic of Slovenia; courts in Maribor have jurisdiction. This does not take away any mandatory consumer protection you have under the law of the country where you live.. Mandatory consumer protections and rights to bring claims in a legally required forum remain unaffected. Contact legal@employme.si first to seek a resolution. We notify users of material changes before they take effect and request renewed acceptance when the terms version changes. You may stop using the service and delete your account if you disagree.
